Or rather, the lack of colour. Modern aesthetic is very much about different shades, of black, white, and even grey. You may also find that more traditional patterns can also be a great way to introduce the past and present into your home\u2019s aesthetic. Of course, one way to mix tradition and modernity is through the focal point of your living room; the fireplace. This traditional part of the room can be seen to be outdated at times, with some people entirely replacing the fireplace in favour of central heating.
