The Bolection
The Bolection of course takes its name from the very popular molding design present in fireplaces, picture frames and cornicing from as far back as the 16th century.
As displayed here The Bolection is a traditional design with a modern feel in its clean lines and beautiful soft curves. Carved from a block of stone rather than sheet stone to acheive these deep curves The Bolection is only available as standard in Branco Cabucco Limestone however alterantive stones can be sourced for special projects.
The Bolection is also popular in a number of configurations, either as the standard design shown on the main image with its beautiful cushion and shelf or with the cushion deleted lowering the overwall height (this can be seen in the selected images on this page, and also as a frame only design, The Bolection Frame
